King James' playoff reign came to an end at the hands of the Celtics led by a Gladiator style performance from "The Truth" Paul Pierce. The Cav's were topped by the Celtics 97-92 with Pierce dropping a noteworthy 41 points. LeBron scored an equally impressive 45 but wasn't enough to keep the Cav's championship hopes alive. NBA commentators are saying this game was reminiscent of the Dominique Wilkins / Larry Bird duel in 1988. Since Paul Pierce is "The Truth" I guess this game LeBron was "The False" hahaha. Boston moves on to the Eastern Conference Finals to face the winner of the Spurs / Hornets series.

It is reminiscent of the Dominique Wilkins / Larry Bird duel in 1988. Only there is one difference. Lebron's and Paul Pierce teammates both suck. Can we put out an a.p.b. for Ray Allen's game?
