I'm sure yall saw the game on Sunday between the Lakers and the Spurs. It was game 3 of the Western Conference Finals with the Lakers leading the series 2 - 0. The Spurs pretty much spanked them like they were the Little Rascals. Games like this disappoint me and make me lose faith in the NBA. I'm really starting to believe that they "rig" these games for certain teams to win and for some of the playoff series to go 7 games, etc. If you saw how the Lakers were playing you would agree. Now in the Lakers defense I will say ya boy Mano Ginobli was on FIRE but Kobe and Gasol didn't play their game at all, I can count on one hand how many times Kobe drove to the basket and Gasol wasn't even trying to get in scoring position. Kobe finished with 30 points but maybe he could have done more for the team if he wasn't trying to post up and fade-away from the 3-point line :-(. And let's not even talk about this years Playoff King Lamar Odom. This cat was missing layups and went like 2 for 11 from the field. He so good at sucking he don't need an agent he needs a pimp. Better luck in game 4.

I'm with you on the rigged stuff. I just can't understand how a team can click one game and then just completely suck the next. Take my dad for example, he sucked EVERY game. Just the way it's supposed to be.
Come on Brothers - if you play a team sport, you know your team can be on one night and off the next. I've had this happen with softball, basketball, and football teams I've been on. I wasn't being paid millions, but even so, being paid millions doesn't mean you can't have off nights. Look at CP3 in game 7 of the Hornets/Spurs series.
That said, yeah, I believe the refs sometimes call the games funky. I'm watching game 4 now, and the Lakers aren't getting a break. They were up by 10, but now with under a min left in Q2, they're only up by one.
Ah well - control what you can, adjust for what you can't.
That's exactly the problem with these playoffs. A team is on one night and is off the very next night. I really can't see how no one has managed to win three straight, besides the Lakers in the first round. Seems kinda screwy but at least we are talking about basketball again which is all they want anyway.
